It all begins with a craft that cannot be learned only from books, but is passed down through four generations of our family.

For over seventy years, we have been operating in the heart of the international diamond trade, within the world's leading diamond exchanges. Not as mere clients, but as members of a network founded on expertise, reputation, and trust built over time.

Knowing a diamond means looking beyond what is written on a certificate. It means knowing how to evaluate its light, proportions, character, and true value. It is an experience gained by observing and selecting thousands of stones, engaging daily with professionals, cutters, and traders from all over the world.

Our headquarters are in Milan, on Corso Genova, but our work takes us directly to the most important international hubs in the sector, including Antwerp, Tel Aviv, and New York. This is where we personally select natural diamonds and precious stones before they reach the market, choosing only what meets our standards.

JDD Diamonds was created to put this experience directly at the service of the customer. Every stone and every piece of jewelry is chosen with the same care we would reserve for a personal purchase: no compromises, no unnecessary intermediaries, and transparent guidance at every stage.

Our family is a historic member of the Italian Diamond Exchange and has been awarded the title of Honorary Member, a recognition reserved for very few individuals worldwide.

Josef D. Deil

Founder of JDD Diamonds

A fourth-generation diamond dealer and gemologist, Josef D. Deil grew up in a family that has been involved in the international trade of diamonds and precious stones for over seventy years.

His training began long before any formal qualification: at the sorting table, loupe in hand, observing the work of those who came before him and learning to recognize what makes a stone truly exceptional. He complemented this family experience with professional gemological training and direct knowledge of the major international markets.

As a member of the Italian Diamond Bourse, Josef operates between Milan, Antwerp, Tel Aviv, and New York, building a select network of relationships with diamond dealers, cutters, gemological laboratories, and master goldsmiths. This direct access allows him to source and select natural diamonds, precious stones, and rare jewelry based on the real characteristics of each piece, looking beyond the data listed on a certificate.

With JDD Diamonds, he has chosen to reinterpret an ancient craft through a contemporary vision: combining the expertise of tradition, the strength of international relationships, and digital tools to offer a more transparent, personal, and accessible service.

Every client is assisted directly, from the initial search to the selection of the stone, through to the design and creation of the jewelry. There are no standard selections: every proposal is born from listening to the individual, their taste, and the story they wish to tell.

Discretion, integrity, and long-term consistency are the principles that guide his work. For Josef, true luxury is not simply owning something precious, but knowing who chose it, where it comes from, and why it represents the right choice.
